The show features model train sales, railroad historical societies, model railroad club layouts, railroad memorabilia and books for sale. Refreshments are available which include hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ and snacks provided by the Expo management.
This is our local show and we do our best to get everyone to participate in this one.
The town of Danville remembers one of the most well known rail tragedies ever. This show gets bigger and better every year as the town is really getting behind this show. It is also supported well by the mid east N-Trak clubs where we fill the Pepsi building with a layout every year.
The town of Appomattox turns into one large festival with all kinds of attractions, events and food for the young and not so young. We are proud to have been part of this event for the past 8 years and this year we will be located in the school board building.
Fomerly known as Bluefield Railfest. A beautiful place for a train show that is rich in railroad and coal heritage. This was our first out of town event and continues to be an event that several of us look forward to each year.
This event is held in support of Lake Christian Ministries. There will be operating layouts, clinics, "hands on" for "kids of all ages", videos, etc. There will also be tours of some close by home layouts.
